On Tuesday, illegal paramilitary Israeli colonizers attacked a Palestinian home in Kisan village, east of Bethlehem city in the occupied West Bank.

Moua Obeyyat, the head of the Kisan Village Council, said the colonizers came from the illegal Maali Amos colony, built on stolen Palestinian lands in the village.

He added that colonizers attacked the home of a local farmer and shepherd, Ali Yousef Obeyyat, causing damage and anxiety attacks among his children.

It is worth mentioning that the attack came not long after the colonizers assaulted Ali and installed a tent near his home.

Kisan and its residents are subject to frequent Israeli violations by the soldiers and the colonizers.

All of Israel’s colonies in the occupied West Bank, including those in and around occupied East Jerusalem, are illegal under International Law, the Fourth Geneva Convention, in addition to various United Nations and Security Council resolutions. They also constitute war crimes under International Law.

Article 49 of the Fourth Geneva Convention states: “The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.” It also prohibits the “individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory.”
